Your fantasy leagues, right on your wrist.
Fantasy Sports for Watch brings your ESPN and Sleeper fantasy sports leagues to Apple Watch. View live matchup scores, rosters, standings, and player breakdowns for football, basketball, baseball, and hockey — without pulling out your phone.
How do I set up the app? Open the iPhone app, sign in to ESPN or enter your Sleeper username, and add your leagues. Your configuration syncs to Apple Watch automatically.
Do I need an ESPN account? Only if you want to track ESPN leagues. You can use Sleeper leagues without an ESPN account, and vice versa.
How do I sign in to ESPN? Tap “Sign in with ESPN” in the iPhone app. You’ll log in through ESPN’s website directly within the app. After signing in, your leagues are discovered automatically.
What is the “Manual cookie entry” option? If the ESPN login flow doesn’t work for you, you can manually enter your ESPN SWID and espn_s2 cookies. These can be found in your browser’s developer tools after logging in to espn.com.
Does Sleeper require a password? No. Sleeper leagues are public — you only need to enter your Sleeper username. No password or authentication is required.
How do I add a watch complication? Long-press your watch face, tap “Edit”, and add a “Fantasy Score” complication. You can choose rectangular, inline, circular, or corner styles.
How do I use Live Activities? In the iPhone app, tap the bolt icon next to any league to start a Live Activity. Your matchup score will appear on the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen.
How often do scores update? The Watch app auto-refreshes every 60 seconds when viewing a league. Complications refresh approximately every 15 minutes (controlled by watchOS). Live Activities update periodically in the background.
What is Low Data Mode? A setting on the Watch app that reduces API calls and disables auto-refresh. Useful for saving battery during long days when you don’t need constant updates.
What is Offload Processing? A setting that routes Watch requests through a lightweight server, so your Watch makes one network call instead of several. This reduces battery usage and speeds up loading. The server is a stateless relay and does not store any of your data.
What sports are supported? Football (NFL), basketball (NBA), baseball (MLB), and hockey (NHL) — on both ESPN and Sleeper.
How do I remove a league? In the iPhone app, swipe left on any league in the Leagues list to delete it.
How do I delete all my data? Uninstalling the app removes all stored data from your iPhone and Watch, including credentials, league IDs, and preferences. You can also sign out of ESPN or disconnect Sleeper from within the app at any time.
The app says “Add leagues on iPhone and sync.” What do I do? Open the iPhone companion app, sign in to ESPN or Sleeper, add your leagues, and they will sync to your Watch automatically.
My ESPN session expired. What do I do? ESPN cookies expire periodically. Open the iPhone app, sign out, and sign back in to refresh your session.
